Our Wellness Services
Each service below has its own page with who it is for, what a visit involves, and what to expect. Most patients use more than one, and the plan is built around your labs and your goals.
- Medical Weight Loss: Our medical weight loss program pairs GLP-1 medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide, with a nutrition plan, vitamin support, and regular follow up. It begins with an evaluation and in office blood work to check thyroid function, blood sugar, cholesterol, and hormones, and progress is tracked on the InBody 380 so you lose fat while protecting muscle. A maintenance program follows once you reach your goal.
- Bioidentical Hormone Therapy for Women and Men: Bioidentical hormone therapy treats the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause in women and of low testosterone in men. Treatment starts with blood work to identify which hormones are out of range, then a dose that is adjusted over time with follow up labs. Start with the conditions it treats, menopause and low testosterone. Men’s health visits include testosterone testing.
- IV Vitamin Infusions: Liquivida IV vitamin infusions deliver vitamins, minerals, and amino acids by IV in a 30 to 45 minute session in our lounge. The drip menu covers hydration, immune support, recovery, focus, and NAD. We review your health history and medications before a first infusion, because IV therapy is not appropriate for everyone.
- Peptide Therapy: Peptide therapy uses short chains of amino acids, prescribed and monitored by our provider after an evaluation. The peptide therapy page lists the peptides we offer, what each is used for, and how each is taken. Peptides are often combined with hormone therapy or the weight loss program.
- InBody 380 Body Composition Analysis: The InBody 380 measures skeletal muscle, body fat, body water, and visceral fat in about 30 seconds. We use it to track fat loss during the weight loss program, changes on hormone therapy, and progress for active adults, and we recommend retesting every two to four weeks.
- Genetic Testing: Genetic testing at our office includes the Myriad myRisk hereditary cancer test, DNA drug sensitivity testing, and Myriad Foresight carrier screening. Results help your provider set screening schedules and choose medications and doses that suit you.
Why a Wellness Plan From a Primary Care Practice
A wellness plan works better when the person writing it can see your whole chart. That is the difference between a wellness clinic that stands alone and one that sits inside a primary care practice.
- One team, one record: your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and thyroid results sit in the same record as your hormone or weight loss plan, and the same team reviews both. Why patients choose Qvita Health and Wellness.
- Labs before treatment: every hormone plan and every weight loss program begins with blood work drawn in our office through our lab services, not with a guess.
- Measured progress: the InBody 380 shows whether you are losing fat or muscle, so the plan changes when the numbers do.
- Conditions treated alongside: obesity, menopause, low testosterone, and type 2 diabetes are managed as medical conditions, with wellness therapies as part of the plan rather than a substitute for it.
How a Wellness Visit Works
- Book a consultation online or by phone. No referral is needed.
- At your visit, we review your health history, medications, symptoms, and goals, and draw blood in the office. Some tests need 8 to 12 hours of fasting, and we tell you ahead of time.
- Once results are back, you get a plan: which services fit, the dose or schedule, and how often we check in.
- Follow up visits recheck labs and, where it applies, body composition, and the plan is adjusted.
What Wellness Care Does Not Do
Wellness services work best when expectations are plain from the start.
- Hormone therapy is not right for everyone. We review your personal and family medical history before recommending it, and we monitor labs during treatment.
- IV therapy is not appropriate for people who retain fluids, have kidney problems, or have certain other conditions, which is why your history is reviewed first.
- Weight loss medication is a prescription that follows an evaluation, and results vary from person to person. A maintenance program is part of the plan because weight can return when medication stops.
- Wellness care is appointment based and is not urgent care. For a new or worsening medical problem, call the office.
What Wellness Services Cost
Insurance often covers primary care visits and many lab tests, and our lab services page explains how samples are sent with your insurance information and that discounted self pay lab pricing is available. Wellness therapies such as hormone therapy, IV infusions, peptides, and weight loss medication are often paid out of pocket, and coverage varies by plan. Payment plans through Cherry, CareCredit, and Affirm are available for medical weight loss and hormone therapy, and our billing page covers the other ways to pay.
Wellness Services FAQs
Is Qvita Health and Wellness an anti aging clinic?
We describe our work as wellness care rather than anti aging. The services people search for under that name, hormone therapy, peptide therapy, NAD and other IV infusions, and body composition tracking, are offered here within a primary care practice that reviews your health history first.
Do I need a referral for wellness services?
No. You can book a consultation directly online or by phone.
Does insurance cover wellness services?
Coverage varies by plan. Primary care visits and many labs are often covered, while hormone therapy, IV infusions, peptides, and weight loss medication are often self pay. Payment plans are available, and our team can help you understand your options.
What happens at the first wellness visit?
We go through your health history, medications, symptoms, and goals, and draw blood in the office. Your plan is built once the results are back.
Can I combine wellness services?
Yes. Hormone therapy, peptide therapy, IV infusions, and the weight loss program are often combined, and the InBody 380 tracks progress across all of them. Your provider decides what belongs in your plan.
